Quematle began with a simple wish — that kids’ clothing could be genuinely soft, tough enough for real play, and fairly priced, all at once. So we make exactly that: joyful, hard-wearing everyday pieces for boys and girls, built to be worn out at the park, not saved for the cupboard.
Made to be worn out, not put away.
We are a small team of designers and pattern cutters working out of India. Every Quematle style starts as a sketch, becomes a sample, and is worn and washed for a fortnight before it ever reaches a listing page. If it pinches, pulls, pills or fades, it doesn’t ship.
Fabric first. We choose breathable, skin-friendly cottons suited to Indian weather and sensitive little skin — not to a lookbook shot in a cold country. Colour is developed so a bright print stays bright after ten washes and plenty of playground adventures.
Priced honestly. Because we sell direct, there’s no showroom margin baked into what you pay. What you see at checkout is the final, all-inclusive number — GST included, shipping complimentary, no surprises at the last step.

Fabric before flourish
If the cloth isn’t right, no amount of print will save it. We test every roll for shrinkage, colourfastness and softness before it enters production.
Fit that survives real life
Every size is graded on real kids, not scaled from a single sample. Styles get extra seam allowance so they last more than one growth spurt.
